DMTF’s annual summer event – the 2019 Alliance Partner Technical Symposium (APTS) – was held July 22-26, 2019, in Portland, Oregon, and as usual the technical sessions and collaborative working group meetings were a great success.
Led by DMTF’s Vice President of Alliances, John Leung, and hosted in partnership with longstanding Alliance Partner the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), highlights of the event included keynote addresses from DMTF’s Security Task Force, HDBaseT Alliance, and SNIA.
In addition, members of DMTF's Redfish Forum gathered for a plugfest around the Redfish standard. Designed to help ensure a consistent experience across platforms, the group held two days of rigorous multi-vendor testing.
