Michael Du of Lenovo has been appointed to serve as the new DMTF Vice President of Regional Chapters. Du will play an important role in the organization as the DMTF continues its commitment to global standardization efforts, providing resources and information for users and developers worldwide.
The DMTF’s Regional Chapter in China and Regional Task Force in Japan have made significant technical progress, in addition to providing local translations of key DMTF documentation. Du will oversee the organization’s international initiatives, growing its global presence and capitalizing on the reach of members from 43 countries.
