We are thrilled to welcome Mark Nicolas to his role within the DMTF. Mark became involved with the DMTF through the Scalable Platforms Management Forum and then continued as the Board of Directors representative from Emerson Network Power in April 2015.
Mark is responsible for Customer Embedded Engineering within the Converged Systems business unit of Emerson Network Power. He has 20 years of data center industry experience in software design and engineering, and currently leads a multi-national development team serving OEM and ODM server manufacturers. His career began with Cybex Computer Products Corporation, which became Avocent Corporation in 2000. During his tenure at Avocent, he served as a product manager for data center products. In 2009, Avocent was acquired by Emerson Electric Company and became part of Emerson Network Power. He holds an MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.
