Membership offers front-line access to DMTF standards and interoperability programs and the opportunity to participate in the process of defining standards and programs. The work of the DMTF is funded through membership dues that are among the most cost effective in the industry.
In 2014, DMTF leaders and membership achieved significant milestones through their open, collaborative work. It was a productive year, the momentum of which carries DMTF towards important deliverables in 2015. The benefits of last year’s structural and procedural reorganization will yield even greater impact with groups publishing Works In Progress often, allowing more opportunities for feedback and ultimately making standards that much more relevant to the demands of the end user. Continued initiatives to deepen DMTF’s presence around the globe will expand the Regional Chapter Committee (RCC) to new locales. The DMTF remains the ideal forum for industry leading companies to come together in a safe, non-competitive environment to collaborate on interoperable management standards. The organization continues to refine itself as the gold standard and desired consortium to create these standards.
