DMTF has released the latest version of the Cloud Infrastructure Management Interface (CIMI) standard, version 2.0. In addition, an up-to-date version of the CIMI Primer, which reviews common scenarios of consumer-provider interactions in CIMI, is also available for download.

Designed to meet the expectations of end users for simple, modern and secure management of scalable platform hardware, the DMTF’s Redfish is an open industry standard that specifies a RESTful interface and utilizes JSON and OData to help customers integrate solutions within their existing tool chains.
